Trustap lite is a lightweight integration option for adding Trustap to your marketplace or eCommerce site. It gives your customers the same buyer protection as our full integrations, while requiring much less development effort from your team.
With Trustap lite, the transaction process (payment, delivery, dispute, release of funds) is fully managed by Trustap. Your platform only needs to handle the initial purchase action and receives a webhook once payment is confirmed (and optionally if the transaction is cancelled). Unlike online or face-to-face transactions, your platform does not need to track or integrate every stage of the transaction flow.

There are many options available for this integration. The following is a flow that is most commonly used.

Buyer clicks `buy now`
The buyer clicks a button to buy or reserve the product or service on your platform marketplace. You control how the button is created.

Platform sends seller details to Trustap
The platform sends seller and transaction details to Trustap.

Buyer uses Trustap payment screen
The platform directs the buyer to the Trustap payment screen to pay for the transaction. From this point, Trustap manage the transaction and the communications between the buyer and seller.

Trustap sends webhook
Trustap sends a webhook to platform to indicate the product or service has been paid for.
